Head Hype Honcho - Brin Addison

Brin Addison started out as a classical guitarist who studied through the Royal School of music where he grew up in Brussels Belgium. A native of South Africa originally, Brin moved to the USA in 1995 to pursue a professional music career. Upon arriving in Seattle Washington, Brin hooked up with Leon Hendrix, the brother of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix, as musical director for the Leon Hendrix Band. This was the stepping stone he needed to create a network and fulfill his passion as a musician and producer.

One thing led to another and before long Brin had established himself as a formidable power in the guitar world when he won the title of "Best Guitarist in Seattle" in 1997 after blowing away the competition for the notable guitar competition "Guitar Starz 7".

Brin went on to work with such acts as Chris Cornell, the Smashing Pumpkins, Smashmouth, Amee Mann, the Indigo Girls and other internationally renowned artists.

Brin custom built Hype Schwartz Studio in 2004, with a vision to create an acoustically superior environment which is also inspring and comfortable - a mecca for creativity.
